As we can guess the public release for iOS 11 is likely to be September 2017 after announcement at the WWDC earlier in June.

It's far too early to know what iOS 11 is likely to include, but here are a few things rumoured to be potentially included:

A more natural sounding Siri (although I quite like my Australian female voice that I have set)

A proper Dark Mode with a black background

Smart Wi-Fi which would automatically log on to the strongest known network and then switch the Wi-Fi off when not connected - would be great to improve battery life!

A customisable control centre so that you can easily toggle things that are best for you.

It's likely that the iPad 4, the iPad Mini 2 and the iPhone 5 will not be compatible with iOS 11, but again nothing's certain.

Obviously there are loads of rumours floating around and I'm sure some more will surface but I guess we're not going to know for sure until it's unveiled next year. I just hope we don't get the same problem as a lot of users did in updating to iOS 10 this year (me included!)
