While streaming services like Amazon and Netflix and now Sky Q are providing 4K content, UHD Blu-ray discs are starting to become available.
If you don't have any of these services yet, UHD Blu-ray could be a good compromise. One, if not the cheapest, 4K Blu-ray players around is the Samsung UBD-K8500.
Reviews say that it has impressive 4K image quality and has two HDMI outputs so it has AV receiver compatibility. Although the build quality is not as good perhaps as some more expensive players.
